Professional Music Composer
Since I originate from a musical family, music has been the one thing I have ever lived for. The Gunjan orchestra is a band led by my father, MR Prabhakar Bhikaji Desai. The band was well-liked because it contained a great musician. The Gunjan Orchestra was well-known in Mumbai since they frequently performed with well-known playback singers.
My uncle (MAMA) gave me an Indian classical instrument when I was in the 10th grade since he knew I struggled in school but had faith in me to succeed in the music business. It was a harmonium.
Biography
I started learning the harmonium, which sparked my interest in music. Following that, I take lessons from renowned pianist and western music performer ROBERT sir. I’ve worked extremely hard over the past four years to study western classical music on the piano. I eventually realised how diverse music is, and I found myself being more and more drawn to it.
Then, in 1997, after so much effort and commitment, I finally had the chance to perform live for the first time with my father’s orchestra at Kamgar Maidan (Parel). There were more than 3,000 attendees, and that is where my musical journey starts.
Being a good learner, I began learning the programming language of electronic music as the times changed. I asked my father to buy a keyboard, and after much practise and study, I discovered that I could play the base, keyboard, Ras, and many other in one keyboard. Subsequently, I used to reprogramme old songs by writing their notes and programming languages so that I could play the exact music, and I was successful in it.
Then the new journey began, and I have made a setup at Andheri and I began to compose Harda songs. Later, I was given the chance to compose a music on Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thakre’s life story, which took me two hours. Finally, I compose another song with singers Sukhi Ji and Raja Ji, and by the grace of God, I was able to find success in the music industry.
